U-M researchers involved in oldest European human fossil find

U-M's Josep M. Pares is part of a team that has discovered the oldest known remains of human ancestors in Western Europe. The fossil is about 1.2 million years old. That's 500,000 years older than the previous oldest known humanlike fossils from the area.

U-M and veterans agree on stadium accessibility

The university, the Michigan Paralyzed Veterans of America and the United States Department of Justice agreed today on a plan to enhance wheelchair accessibility at Michigan Stadium. The plan, to be incorporated into ongoing stadium renovations, will provide more and varied seating options for disabled fans and their companions.
