Football: Let's Get Physical

"We have to approach every game like we are going to be the more physical team, and that starts up front. No matter the outcome, we have to play harder and more physical than our opponent." — Brady Hoke

Women's Soccer: Eyes on the Prize

"[This] will be the most talented team we've had at Michigan since I've been here. . . This is a year that Michigan should look eye-to-eye with just about every team in the Big Ten." — Greg Ryan

Men's Soccer: "Every Game is a Dogfight."

"I have a pretty good idea of what's coming. Every game is going to be very challenging and difficult. That's a challenge I know our guys look forward to."
Chaka Daley

Field Hockey: Backfield in Motion

"Our greatest strength is our attack. These players are exciting to watch—fast and skilled. They can handle pressure well and can score the big-time goal."
Marcia Pankratz

Volleyball: Setting It Up

"I think our biggest challenge right now is youth. We're just young and we have a lot of learning to do, but it's also positive and exciting. Our goal is to never stop developing, never stop growing." — Mark Rosen

Women's Cross Country: Depth and Quality

"We've been close on getting back in the Big Ten winners' circle so it's a very high priority for us this year. It's something we talk about, but more importantly it's something we're going to act on." — Mike McGuire

Men's Cross Country: Going the Distance

"We've got a ton of experience returning . . . this team doesn't need to be led like the last two I've coached. They're invested and involved and understand what we're trying to do." — Alex Gibby
