Mary Sue Coleman announces new provost, policies, and plans for carbon neutrality.

Reports of sexual and gender-based misconduct on the Ann Arbor campus in fiscal year 2021 increased slightly, as did the number of investigations conducted by the University, according to the annual report by U-M’s Equity, Civil Rights and Title IX Office.

A new multidisciplinary unit — the Equity, Civil Rights and Title IX Office — will house many of the critical functions around equity and civil rights work, including Title IX, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other forms of discrimination. 

U-M to consult outside expert to ensure all is being done to prevent and respond to reports of sexual misconduct.
